1- Hypnosis is Mind Control. Is hypnosis mind control really? Not at all. Your mind can not be controlled by another person through hypnosis. Ok, then why people in stage hypnosis are doing the things that they would not do outside hypnosis?

3- The Hypnotist Has Special Powers. This is a common misconception that in order to hypnotize someone you must have special mystic powers from born.

But actually, you don’t need to have special powers to be hypnotist. Just follow the hypnosis techniques properly and you can become a hypnotist and have hypnosis success this way.

4- Person loses the awareness while being hypnotized. Actually, the person who is hypnotized is aware what happens. But certainly, sometimes he or she can not respond to the things as it would be normally. But it doesn’t mean that the person loses the awareness in hypnosis.

These are the main hypnosis myths which make people to think in a wrong way about hypnosis and it confuse with other terms.
