I am not saying it is a good thing. What I am saying is that it is normal to use hypnosis in politics. It may be deceptive, immoral etc. But you have to use hypnosis to win US elections. Everyone uses it. I also agree Obama used it too deceptively.

No, it is not a good thing that he uses hypnosis in his speeches. That means he is playing with the countries mind intentionally, it is the epitome of deceit and it is a personal attack on every person. He is supposed to serve this country, not use us as his puppets. What a horrible suggestion.

Some hypnosis professionals already knew that Obama’s speech contained hypnosis techniques. But most people really believed him and all of his words. It is sad to see American citizens get disappointed after elections.

If the americans want to choose form over substance, it is their right to vote for it. If the americans can`t see through deceptive hypnosis techniques used by the speech writers and natural homed abilities of an expert liar and hence get something different then what they had expected, then … that`s just tough luck. Better look at the content next time (which is non existend). I wasn`t fooled by Obama because he drives expensive cars and because I thought about what his plans where and whether that would work and had to conclude there was just nothing but a void, so it was obvious he is a liar. The information densitiy of Obama speeches is also nearly zero, and it takes a lot of time to disect the illogical sentences he uses (so you would really want his blabla on paper). If you analyse one of his sentences, you find is says nothing, or is double bottomed. (Example “world class education” has a double meaning, both on `world` and on `class`). It is a barrage of such difficult to dissect sentences, which gives dumb people the impression it is intelligent because they sense they can`t compute what is said fully, so they can go into “daddy knows everything because I don`t follow this anymore.” But at the end of the speech nothing but very poor and bad policy was suggested, if any at all.

Can`t see through Obama, then you`re not ready for real democracy, so it`s OK. Manipulating the vote with machines is less OK. bye.

Explain to me how Obama can use conversational hypnosis on a non-english speaking person. Damn. He must be good. Google “obama hypnosis’ on any search engine or youtube and find out the extent of this reality.

I’ve said for a number of years that Reagan was a natural Ericksonian hypnotist (and almost certainly unaware of this). The use of hypnotic language is fine, except when used to DECEIVE! Obama used hypnotic language patterns and NLP techniques extensively during his speeches, and these things are fine for persuasion and evoking emotional responses in the listeners. Ronald Reagan, the “Great Communicator” was a master at using colorful language to inspire people with a vision that he truly believed in. However, Obama would often use such language when he was trying to puff-up and exaggerate his record, or convince folks that he had never believed in socialism, or lead them to believe that he never said something which the record clearly would indicate he had said. I am a Certified Hypnotist, Sports Hypnotist and Stage Hypnotist, and I have sales people who want me to teach them hypnotic selling techniques. I have no problem with doing so, as long as they are not trying to deceive, mislead, or convince people to buy something under false pretenses.

Obama has used his skills in a most deceptive and misleading way, and I think its most unfortunate that so many people have been led astray.

Interesting?!!!! As a public speaker I’ve trained a bunch of folks on how to use NLP and hypnosis — although I don’t use those terms. In a couple of weeks I’m doing a workshop at a state Revenue Officer conference. Then in July I’m doing a series of presentations to Toastmasters. I agree that Obama is a very good speaker (despite is Ah’s and Um’s.) It would be interested to see why you make your statements. Would you consider writing an article for http://www.HypnosisResearchInstitute.org?
