First, ask those subjects to sit in a semicircle. Stay in front of them so that they all could see you well. Ask them to stare at you. You must stay in a such position that you could see everyone and each subject should think that you look exactly at him (her). Ask the whole group to lay down and tightly clench their hands. Tell them that when you count to three, they will not be able to separate their hands. Start counting: “One… Two … Three … ” Say quickly: “Now you can not separate your hands.” Sure, all of these must be done fast and with a hypnotic voice.

If you want to enter all of them in a trance at the same time, then you should stand in front of them, ask them to close their eyes and think of dreaming or how nice the dreaming is. Then make this suggestion several times: “Close your eyes, think about the sleep … Your head becomes heavier … You’ll sleep tightly… All parts of your body get heavier … You are calm … Your eyes are closed … You sleep tightly … tightly sleep… ”

Now, you can make your desired suggestion. If you want all of them laugh, then you can say: “When you open your eyes, you will see that something very funny has happened. You will all laugh … The more you try to stop laughing, the stronger you will laugh.” Ask them: “Open your eyes“. Say something funny and start to laugh yourself. Then go to anyone who has not opened his eyes and ask to open them.

That is it. Group hypnosis is mainly used in stage hypnosis. You can also use it for fun, too.

Below, I will show you two ways to hypnotize your parents and get desired results. The first one is ethical and funny, but the second one is a bit deceptive way. Lets start with the first one. Take on the following easy steps and get a positive answer from your parents right away!

1. Find Quiet Place. You would not want your parents to think that you are about to hypnotize them, so do not act awkwardly. Do things that you normally do. You may walk your parents through the house and find the most peaceful space you can stay in – the perfect place where you can employ your plan!

2. Get It Started. When you have already found the perfect spot, it is time to get it started! Close your eyes and hypnotize yourself now. Your parents will think that your ways are cool, as actually you are (it is very powerful). After you are completely relaxed, convince them to hypnotize themselves, too by showing them the steps on the page you just visited.

3. Go Back to the Old Days. You just made a giant step towards your goal. Now, if you can let your parents think of the happy times you spent together, great! You already have them in your hands! Start the happy thoughts when you were still a baby, how you managed to walk on your own, how you entered school after tantrum series and so on. You have just used age regression hypnotic induction on your mom (dad).

Parents are forever parents and their children will always occupy a huge part of their lives. If you got this soft and hypnotic side of your parents, voila! You are close to having the much awaited answer!

4. Sneak in the Question. You reminisce from infantry to adulthood. Now, focus on the benefits of having the freedom to do whatever you want, as being able to go out with friends (This is the point where you insert your proposal). You will instantly get a nod from your parents (who still have their eyes closed while on “self hypnosis”) which is already a sign of approval.

Yes, probably. Even if you tried hard, it was impossible for you to concentrate on speech. You forced yourself to listen carefully to each word, but against your will, your mind drifted.

Why did your mind drift?

Because speaker’s voice was putting you into a trance state. Yes, the voice alone can enter anyone in a trance state. So your voice is very important for the entire hypnotic experince.

It’s impossible to state with certainty which vocal level or tone will help you more to succeed in hypnosis. Each hypnotist use his or her own hypnotic voice. But general rule is that, you should use normal, slow voice and a soft, clear tone in hypnosis therapy.

Certainly, stage hypnotists must use strong and powerful tone, because they are doing a show for the audience and talk with several persons at the same time.

There are 2 types of voice for hypnotic inductions: monothone or rhythmic.

The monothone voice allows you to stay focused, because there is nothing distracting or diverting. For example, “You will continue relax and now let all of the muscles in your body relax and fell those muscles smooth, smooth and relaxed. . .”

The rhythmic voice creates peacefulness and lulls you into a trance. For example, “Now you are relaxing all the muscles in your back“.

There are other elements of voice which are used throughout the induction. Here are those elements:

Word distortion for emphasis. These are used to achieve a special, desired effect. For example, “Feel the muscles loooose. . .”

Raised pitch. The raising voice is mainly used in posthypnotic suggestions. For example, “and now you will stop smoking!”

Uninterrupted rhythm. This rhythm is established through the use of connective words. For example, “Feel yourself relax and continue to relax and just relax deeper and feel you entire body relaxing deeper and deeper. . .”

Silent pause. Silent pause is used to allow time for you to respond to a suggestion or command. For example, “Now take a deep breath. [Pause.] Now exhale. [Pause]

As said above, each hypnotist has to work out how to use their own voice to maximize the results of hypnosis. And the most important is that you must use your voice to apply hypnosis techniques properly.

Rapid Induction induces a trance state very quickly in about 3 to 7 minutes. It is mainly used in stage hypnosis shows and clinical hypnosis and has been popular in last 10 years.

Rapid induction consists of rapid, short, instructional commands and helps to put the subject into a trance state with fewer words rather than traditional induction techniques.

Instant Induction is new induction method which produces a trance state in seconds. It is especially useful for hypnosis shows. Unlike other induction methods it doesn’t make your audience feel boring during the show. Instant induction techniques are simple to master with a practice.

Fixation Induction. This is a traditional induction method. It draws subject’s attention to the fixation object such as pendulum, a dot on the wall etc. As concentration focuses on fixation object, subject’s attention is drawn away from external sights and sounds.

Indirect Induction. As supposed, you don’t use any directives in this type of induction, instead you use analogies or metaphors. Indirect induction is used for subjects who resist any direct suggestions. When you use indirect induction, the subject doesn’t resist the suggestion, because he doesn’t know he is receiving it.

Muscle Relaxation Induction is another traditional method which relaxes every muscle in your body. Relaxation induction may begin from the top of the head and work down or begin with toes and work upwards. It is easy to learn and use relaxation induction while doing self-hypnosis or hypnotizing others.

Progressive Muscle Relaxation Induction is designed for those who find it difficult to relax. It takes more time than relaxation induction. It is widely used for people who need to relax specific areas of the body to relieve chronic tension on shoulders, chest etc.

There are also some other hypnotic induction techniques used in hypnosis like Dave Elman method, Arm-Drop method, Confusion method, Drop Object method etc.

You should also know that, you don’t need to have special powers to hypnotize people. You can hypnotize anyone if you learn hypnosis techniques and apply them properly.

How Does Hypnosis Work?

You can hypnotize others in 2 ways. In first type, you hypnotize people with their permission. In this type, you hypnotize people using hypnotic voice and techniques. So you put a person into a trance state and make your commands.

The hypnotic state can be terminated by the person anytime he (she) wants. It is completely up to him (her) to enter a trance state or leave it.

This type of hypnosis is safe and commonly used in hypnotherapy to heal others (for example, pain control, stress reduction and so on).

The second type of hypnosis is covert hypnosis. In covert hypnosis, you hypnotize others without them knowing. A person does NOT know that you are hypnotizing him (her).

The goal of covert hypnosis is to make your subject to do anything you want without any resistance. A person is unaware of being hypnotized which helps you to achieve your goals quickly. When a person is under hypnosis, you can make your hypnotic suggestions and commands.

It is a sad fact that most people use covert hypnosis for dishonest purposes trying to get advantages from their subjects. We do not recommend using hypnosis for such purposes.

Note: Most experts don’t accept covert hypnosis as one of types of hypnosis. They claim that hypnosis can be done only with the permission and awareness of the subject.

How To Hypnotize Someone NOW

It is time to start your first hypnosis practice. This technique is called handshake induction which is a type of instant hypnosis.

Now, follow the step by step process below:

1- Have the person sit in front of you – face on face. You should sit yourself, too. Have the person put their hand on top yours – palm to palm.

2- Tell him (her): “Look at my eyes and continue looking until I say something”.

3- Tell him (her): “In a moment I am going to count to 3. Press down on my hand and I’ll be pressing up against your energy and simply follow my instructions instantly.”

4- Say “1…2…3….push, push, push”. If he (she) is pushing gently, tell him (her) to push harder.

5. Now with your other hand, put it on top of his eyes, like you are shading them, and slowly caressing down.

6. Then say: “now as you continue to press down on my hand I want you to develop a feeling in your eyes like your up much too late at night watching an old black and white movie, you should go to bed but you’re just so tired. You feel your eyes so droopy …and closing….and drowsy….and….SLEEP !”

The moment you begin to say “sleep” you have to quickly slip your hand away from his (her). This is very important moment and must be done accurately.

Practice this technique on your friends, family members and you will see the results. This is a step by step technique, so everyone who follows it properly can hypnotize people easily.
